Why animation need computational speed?
Computer animation is one of the most CPU-intensive operations. Basically you're making the CPU do a lot (a LOT) of calculations on pixels, often millions of them at the same time. Naturally, for doing such an operation, the faster the CPU execution speed the better. Read More

The most CPU Intensive Games 2017 Before we start to list all the titles, I want to say that all of the games mentioned in this list are best in terms of gameplay, storyline, and graphics of course. You can buy these games from Steam or PlayStation store. Rise of Tomb Raider: The game at maxest settings require an i7 5820k with GTX 980 or Fury to enjoy fluent FPS at 1080p, while on higher resolutions or multi monitor setup we suggest you to grab a hexa core beast, i7 5930k with GTX 980 Ti SLi or Fury X Crossfire. It is grabbing 3rd in our list of CPU intensive games.
How a Round Robin scheduling algorithm allocates the CPU to processes?
The round-robin scheduling algorithm allocates CPU time to processes by sequentially assigning the CPU to processes of equal priority that are in the state of being able to use the CPU. (Not blocked) This works by appearing to evenly distribute the CPU amongst CPU ready processes. Processes that are waiting on something, such as an I/O event, particularly waiting on the user to press Enter, are not considered for allocation. Often, there is a priority… Read More
What kind of microprocessor does CPU have?
CPU = central processing unit The term 'microprocessor' and CPU are roughly equivalent, although the purists out there will probably say that CPUs are for larger machines and microprocessors are for embedded system or PC class machines. The answers: these are basically synonymous terms for all intensive purposes. Read More
Difference between gaming computer and desktop computer?
Most games are GPU intensive, not CPU intensive. The real difference between a desktop and a gaming computer is the GPU. A desktop will have a minimal GPU (just really to display and have visual effects), while a gaming computer will have a dedicated graphics card and higher performing parts. Hope this helped :) Read More

What is meant by process aging?
Process aging is the mechanism of the kernel scheduler of slowly reducing the execution priority of the process (more specifically the threads in a process) when that process or thread stays compute bound (or CPU pinned) for more than a short period of time. This mechanism allows CPU intensive processes to run at a lower priority than IO intensive (or especially interactive) processes. It is a compromise between performance and responsiveness. Read More

What is the difference between a CPU and a GPU?
The difference between a CPU and a GPU is that a CPU stands for central processing unit: (computer science) the part of a computer (a microprocessor chip) that does most of the data processing; 'the CPU and the memory from the CPU and the memory form the central part of a computer to which the peripherals are attached'. GPU stands for a graphics processing unit (also occasionally called visual processing unit or VPU) is a… Read More
Can god of war be played on PC Pentium D?
You should check the minimum requirements for the version of the software that you want to run. My personal experience with that processor is that it is a very capable dual core and will run any PC game out there as long as the rest of your hardware is working. Some more intensive applications may have better results when the system is optimized for that application (like killing unnecessary processes and setting rendering preferences to… Read More

Can a computer operate without both the CPU and chipset?
Answer: No. Putting aside the chipset, the CPU (central processing unit) is one of the most important components in a computer, as it's where most calculations take place. It can be likened to the brain of the system. Like a car without an engine, a computer without a CPU will not operate as intended. You cannot expect anything useful out of a PC without a CPU and a chipset. Read More
Hi,
I need some help with the game options.
I have a 2 monitor setup and often, if not always, i play games along side a stream or youtube video on the second monitor.
Just since the launch of the game i had framerate problems anytime the video or stream was in fullscreen on the second monitor.
We are talking about halve the FPS's and the video sometimes stop working . If i simply changed the video the FPS's came back nicely and the video would run smothly.
With some troubleshooting i got to discover that almost anytime the division was taking 80% to 90% to my CPU usage and the rest was used by the rest of the system, mostly by chrome to play the video or stream. And was any time the division needed even more CPU usage, the video player would stop working for lack of CPU, not because of the internet (that initially i had assumed was the problem behind the videos and stream stop working)
I even got to overclock my CPU, just to see if things would turn better and more smooth, but what happened was that, the division got even more performance but continued to use 80% to 90% of my CPU. and the video problems still persist.
All of this to ask, what are the setting in the division that most impact CPU usage. I cant figure it out.
At the moment i'm playing on a PC with:
Intel i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz ( overclocked to 4.4GHz now fully stable);
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti
16GB Ram
SSD for storage
Windows 10 fully updated.
Is not the best PC out there but i don't believe it's a potato ether.
I don't believe that i'm wrong assuming that i would be able to play Division and see a stream or video with this PC.
Can someone please help me with this question?
Thank you.
